However, in the satellites tournaments, particularly those that offer to send players to the main event at the WSOP or the WPT events, the competition is very stiff and extremely aggressive.
Guaranteed prize pools typically ensure a steady amount of traffic. If the tournaments are taking place during peak hours, then the players are able to find quite stiff competition which can be fun for the player who loves a challenge. Additionally, the tournaments with guaranteed prize pools are often one of the reasons the players who play at this room remain loyal. After all, some of the tournaments are loyalty-based with an invitational only basis.

Summary
Overall, we liked Blue Square Poker. However, we found it wasn’t our favorite as far as overall layout. While many players rave about the platform and enjoy the look and feel to the website, we found some of the things we wanted weren’t that easy to locate after we played around with the software for awhile. Still, it is smooth to load and many players would find it easy to move around the website if they aren’t used to other gaming software.
Blue Square Poker is refreshing to the player who is playing in a lot of different rooms. We found just the blue and white look promoted a jovial and fresh approach to poker which in a day where so many sites seem to duplicate, was very much appreciated. This is a poker room that has the ability to stand out based on its software alone and players like it for the software, the features of the games, and other obvious features found to be upgraded on this platform.
The bonuses, while difficult to follow for the new player, are very good. There are some terms and conditions that will apply on a graduated scale but overall, these are good and provide the means to pad the player’s bankroll with some hefty incentives. The biggest gripe we had with this forum really was in the fact that the website didn’t explain the bonuses as well as we thought the bonus should be explained. While we understood it, we are online a lot and in poker rooms quite frequently. The new player will not have the luxury of experience and will have a difficult time understanding the bonuses they may be able to claim.
We’ll go ahead and recommend Blue Square Poker to the new or the seasoned player but we are doing so because of the game choice more than for any other reason. We think players will enjoy playing at the room and chances are, if they play at this room first, they probably won’t be very fond of any other poker room online. It is a cut above but very different from other online rooms.
