Talk about hearkening back to the days of yesteryear! The Five Times Pay game is a very old school/traditional game that is rated as one of the top 10 slots games to play. While it is only a 3-reel slot and single payline; there are ten winning combos with seven different symbols to make up those combos. The "wild" symbol is the number 5 (surprise!) that also says 5 times pay. Obviously, this is the multiplier- AND with two 5's the number is squared to 25 times. Though the 5 is not a scatter symbol, luckily, it is the jackpot symbol and is on all 3 reels.

Interestingly, when you google this game, a lot of history comes up too, such as: One of the first slots was a 5-reel poker game created in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1891 by two guys called Pitt and Sittman (sounds like an accounting firm, huh). This game required an attendant to do the payout. Historically, when gaming with money was illegal or for the smaller awards; drinks, cigars, cigarettes, candy and gum were paid out and the "bar" symbol on slots derives from this gum prize.
