Many of you have undoubtedly stumbled upon some website offering you the winning Baccarat betting system that will earn you thousands within the hour. Well let me break it down simply – they are ALL nonsense.
Every now and again I run into one of those sites – and it infuriates me. The notion that a working, profitable betting system would be sold for anywhere between $20-60 is downright ridiculous.
It doesn't help that there's always a picture of one of the greasiest, sleaziest guys you can ever imagine plastered all over the website. And of course, He's always a professional gambler that made millions using his unique betting system and he's willing to sell it to you for 30 bucks. Yeah, right.

All players need to always keep in mind that if there actually was a viable betting system that would beat the casino, and it would only cost $50, wouldn't all casinos be bankrupt by now?
Many of the betting systems originated in some form quite a long time ago – around a century and a half ago. Rest assured, 150 years was more than enough time for casinos to have found a way to deal with many of these betting systems. These system are the reason why table limits exist. The table limits came around to battle the martingale system – many of you probably already know it, it's the system in which you double up on your previous bet if you've lost. And if you know it, you've probably tried it, and if you've tried it, you know it doesn't really work too well.
To be truthful, I'm hoping that anyone typing in something along the lines of “Baccarat Betting System” in their favorite search engine will stumble upon this page and give up the hope of a surefire betting system for baccarat.
If it's a real betting system you're after, Baccarat is probably not the best game to choose. Many other games such as Blackjack, or Roulette offer players a superior chance of winning with specific betting patterns or counting cards.

If those games aren't your cup of tea, you can always try some of the more skill-based games such as poker. Poker is played between players and winning or losing is directly related to you playing skill. Even if you're dealt the worst cards imaginable, you can always bluff your way out of a 7-2 non suited. Since poker is a game between the players and not the casino, The Casino doesn't have such a vested interest in players losing. In fact, they want players spending as much money as possible, since they will usually charge what is called a 'Rake' from the winnings. It's a small percentage of the winnings that will go to the house for the service of hosting the game.
To sum it all up in a nutshell – betting system for Baccarat are complete and utter nonsense. In the words of the great Mister T - I pitty the fool!
