SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Illinois’ riverboat casino tax revenue slumped drastically during the budget year that ended June 30 according to a new report from the legislature’s Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability. The eye-opening report reveals that tax revenues dropped from $685 million to $564 million.
