i think you could have made a serious mistake trying to check on the flop. you could have at least made the minimum bet. by raising pre-flop you've already established some sort of hand and by checking the flop u've given your oppenents a chance to catch up.
Once you've made the full house then you could slow play it and wait for others to try and steal the pot on a bluff by re raising them. I think you also should have raised more to make it a two-way hand pre-flop. This way your opponent has a little bit of pot commitment and may be willing to call on the flop and the turn.
