A huge big Thank You to Wass Admin & Gary for Newcastle 2008. Also to everyone who helped me on the tables when I didnt have a clue lol. I had the best time in years & you guys are to thank for that. Plus the others who attended & made it so special.

I met Gazthehippy & oioimalloy at Kings Cross in London to get the train to Newcastle. We had an fun trip kinda. Nick (oioi) was doing his usual stirring lol & posting pics on the other forum, something about schlongs and my hand...Say no more apart from it was lies.

Arrived at the hotel & met xxSPRINGTIMExx (Nicola) & halfday (Lee), then more ppl started to appear which was cool although scary. We all went to our rooms and dumped our stuff & met up in the lobby to go reg at the casino.

Back at the hotel the Happy Hour (3-7pm) started and we all took over the bar. Then the booze started, it continued for the rest of the day until we all met at the casino for a meet & greet, then we stopped drinking for maybe 5 minutes and were given a FREE drink chip which soon started us all off again. Met loads of ppl I've never met before. Both Wass players & .commers, we all got on great (I think). After a few more drinks I was really panicking, unsure whether to play or not. But I did it.

It was my first time playing and everyone was just so brilliant. Tricks was a gem on the Friday night. xx

Saturday I was a bit more relaxed until they put me on a table with Dogma, Evilluck, MrWass, Doc, few others but mad4cards soon calmed me down lol. Bless I think she done me a favour really by telling them if I bet/raise/call to fold.
I drank mainly coffee to begin with I finished 16th on the Saturday which I was more than proud of. Woulda liked to have got a Hoody but I will next time

Back at the hotel was excellent, started drinking again, £3.50 a bottle of lager . Anyway Danny is nuts. There was only a few of us but then everyone joined us including some Aussies who were cool apart from SuperTed who rubbed Hami up the wrong way & almost experienced a mad irishman's temper. I didnt play any more poker that night but watched everyone in action in the hotel. We were all being watched by the guy who served us all drink etc (miserable sod lol) he was adamant we were getting thrown out the room at 4.30am. But Mrs Welshgit came to the rescue and soon sorted that out.

The SNG was turned into a rebuy for reasons I'm sure someone will explain (Sal).

5.30am bed for me while the others continued.

Sorry for being awol when I got thanked, although it wasnt needed really I do appreciate it.

Now I'm starving so will leave this now. Looking forward to doing it all again, thank you all so much
