ZED , these sites are not going to pay you just downloading the site, if that was the case, i'd be making a ton of money.
they still need you to make a deposit before they initially earn money off you.
now, what may happen here , is that they have been such a great affiliate, that tey have earned the site a ton of money, they may have worked out a deal with the site, that the site is actually fronting the $50 for the apparent affiliate, in hopes that once if you lose, you will deposit, or at least you will be earning the site rake if you do well{earnt hem rake by playing with others}
then, if this is the case, the affiliate may be charged back the $50 minused out of there affiliate earnings.
you think about what one person said here at wass, someone leaked that they did not front any of the money on .com , carbon for the weekly freerolls on the weekend. someone said that .com funded the funds for these.
so see, you KNOW wass poker had been making a ton of money for .com, so in return, .com hooked up wass with extra prize money.
so this may be the reason for them being able to hand out $50.
i would give a few more explainations but i have to leave at the moment.
