my pre tournament tip was holland or italy as long as only one of them qualified from the group, and I stick with that . as long as italy don't qualify I think holland have enough luck to hang on in games and kill the oppos in counter attack .. italy could be their nightmare tho.... later in a tourney holland haven't experienced for years .. italy get there every time .. can't remember the last time you didn't see italy in a quarter final.
outside those two, you have spain (if the coach gets his 1st choice team right, there is no way in hell fabregas is a sub)
Portugal (purely because the winker ronaldo is still on form .. winker.)
and my final choice was going to be germany just because they always seem to be there .. but I'm not going that way . I'm sticking my neck out ....... as long as they don't get more than 1 major injury, Holland have the luck needed to get to the final and the skills needed to win it .. as long as they don't have to play italy again
