Best Hand
Actually, I have had a Royal Flush, plus a number of lesser Straight Flushes. Naturally, the Royal is the actual BEST hand, however I like one better that I had. I was dealt pocket AA and thought, great, here I go... going to double up. I decided in a game of 7 people (live) not to push it, and give them a chance to catch something. So, I made about a 3X BB bet... I got 3 callers. Out comes the flop... hmmm No Aces and not much there. So, I make a 50% pot bet... and I get one caller. So naturally, I am thinking, double up double up...hehe. So the turn comes out and its a K. Still no big deal. So, I go all in.... After much thought, which is really the key why I kept pushing (He had to really think after each betting round), he goes all in too. I am thinking YES!!
We turn em over and ... wait for it.... can you guess what he had....

The suspense builds here...hehe.
AA.... tadaaaaaaa
We were both dealt pocket AA and went through all that. The whole table is on the edge of their seats, both of our hearts are pounding with anticipation of the big win and then.... B OO Mmmmm. Nottta... split pot... Ugggghhhh.
I thought about the many times when I had a flush at a table and someone else had a flush too only slightly better... or..
I had AA at a table and someone had KK and out on the flop comes a K and I end up losin...
Or anytime I had the best of it and someone rivered or turned the winning hand... OUCH!!!
What I love about that hand is the power of poker to really pull you in all directions. There is no sure thing.... NEVER FORGET THAT!!!
