Battle Of The Sexes – The FaceOff

We have a slightly new format for the battle this time. I will try to explain it all here.

First off we need to get 2 teams. 25 Males and 25 Females.

We will hold 6 qualifiers (3 male ones and 3 female ones) on…. 29th, 30th April and 1st May

These games will cost $2 + 20c to enter with no prize pool. The top 10 players in the first two games get a token to the MenVsWomen games the following week. The final qualifier is a last chance game offering the final 5 tokens.

The prize pool will be collected and added as prize pool to the game setup for the winning team. (25 player game)

Right… Now we have 25 players for each team.

The following week (5th – 9th May) we have a game everyday Monday to Friday. 10 player table in 5v5 format. Have the games set at different times to allow everyone to get a time to suit themselves.

The captain would need to allocate someone to each game. Again there will be no prizepool for these games.

We will total points based on top 3 finishers in each game.

1st – 5 points
2nd – 3 points
3rd – 1 point

So after all 5 games have been played the points would be added for each team and the winning team gets a freeroll on the Sunday night (11th May) with the prizepool coming from the initial qualifier games.

PLEASE DONT ENTER ANYMORE QUALIFIERS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A TOKEN. THE TOKENS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE AND YOU CAN ONLY PLAY 1 GAME SO YOU WILL BE LETTING YOUR TEAM DOWN BY LOSING THEM A PLAYER IN ONE OF THE GAMES.

As a former Battle of the Sexes Champion I'm going to be right up for this, all I hear is Divas this Divas that and it's going to stop (for one night at least!!).

The games are on the schedule for today and tomorrow but I thought they were running on the 29th 30th April and 1st May

Ok all.. As Wendy isnt about the same i will take over her side unless someone has already been arranged. (in the sense of setting people to games for next weeks battles)

The passwords will be in the 10+ section. I will post them in there later this evening for tomorrows games. And please only enter the correct game. i.e. no males in the female games and vica versa

Please remember once you qualify dont play anymore games this week.
