Phil Ivey
There are many very good poker players doing the circuits but one player in particular stands out in my mind as "the onei would really like to know what he is thinking", Phil Ivey as he stares at the other players unblinking and devoid of expression.
I would hope in years to come when Phil considers his career over that he digs out all the old footage of the games he was involved in and does a voice over telling us what he was thinking and looking for during his games, i think it would be most interesting.

I have to agree with everything said about this great poker player. I have watched poker on television many times but when Ivey is at the table then I cant move till he either wins or is eliminated. The eyes and the blank expression, sometimes you think hes not even paying attention but beleive me he is analysing every last detail about every player at the table.
Watching him play the Monte Carlo Millions this year was great experience he played the pants off everyone. The next day he played against Hellmuth, Devilfish, Hansen, Matusow and a couple of others I cant remember now he got no cards at all but while Hansen Hellmuth and Matusow tried to force things on marginal hands Ivey sat tight and outlasted them all and when he got heads up he got great cards and ended up blasting the guy out in a short time to pick up 600k more.
Great player
I like Matusow too but not for poker ability hes just hilarious. Phil Laak is also a funny guy

I dig Phil I... he's a character and a great pokerplayer. Like Devilfish - just not as extravagant.
Otherwise I have to say Gus Hansen rocks. He can have fun at a poker table with crap on his hand. Not like many other folders - were the cards take completely over.
