Best Damn Poker Challenge ~ TV Show
My son was watching a sports channel this morning prior to school ~ FSN (Fox Sports Network) ~ when I came home just as I was grabbing the remote I noticed Phil Hellmuth on tv so it caught my eye. It's a pretty cool show. This was him and Annie Duke. There is a group of players (non professionals) they observe and eliminate based on how they observe them play amongst each other. It gets down to two teams... Phil picks his squad and Annie picks her and they "Duke" it out (pun intended,lol). Still watching it play out. They school them, observe them, strategize ~ bicker amongst themselves. So far it's been a neat show. Guessing next episode will have 2 different pros doing the same.
Have only seen about 10 minutes of it to this point but if you notice it on you might enjoy tuning in. Been interesting watching them encourage their players aggression, giving tips & also pretty cool when the two watch the players battle it out at the tables and comment on their players decisions in a private room.
It's called the Best Damn Poker Challenge ~ would imagine this is really for folks in the states, but just wanted people who enjoy watching poker on tv to keep an eye out for it.
