Phil Ivey Muck Best Hand in WSOP 2009

i think he was tired and not really concentrated. in the beginning of the video his body language seems to tell his tiredness

A lot of times players even seasoned pro's even make this mistake.
I don't usually only because I Flip my cards as a habit in live tourney play.
I do this on every showdown cuz I have mucked a few winners in my day.
I have had a lot of objections when playing cash and I exposed only one card during showdown.
I do this because when only playing 1 card from your hand and the other being a null kicker why show right.
I had a few blokes try to steal a hand saying my hand was dead in Live cash;however, this is untrue rules change from room to room.
As long as you show at least 1 card in cash your hand is live.
In tournament u gotta show both no matter what.
I guess the dealer is the main official in that aspect.

Anyhow this is quite the valuable lesson.

Well, this past weekend Ivey just became the All Time Leading Money Winner in Tournament play. So....he must be doing something right!



He won over 600,000 AU in the Aussie Millions and took over first place on the all time list from Daniel Negreanu...
