An award would make that all go away.

This whole voting thing seems so unfair. The point of a vote is to vote for whoever you want "without anyone knowing". If we are to pm our votes in then I think it is quite unfair. Even if it would be kept confidential. All votes should be able to be cast anomynously.

You could always create a new user identity and vote, but they still could look up your IP address, if you're that paranoid about it, lol.

Firstly this is the way its been done and it will remain this way...I cant make 20 dam polls and even then I will still know who voted and honestly I personally dont care who votes for who as im doing this myself for the whole forum. You know how much time it takes to go through all the PM's and count it all up? All i can say is dont vote then.

I thought the point of a "ballot" was to enable anonymity - a vote is just a vote.
I personally don't care if people know I think evil is the best female player, or zed's achievement and chumley's achievement should tie. I'm not about to post the why's and how's, but I'm contributing to the vox-pop.

If you want to bemoan the lack of confidentiality, keep it to yourself, there's no alternative without doing it in person, and that's impractical.
The mods here do an amazing job for so little credit - setting up games, resolving problems, counting up scores and votes, etcetera.

Why has this forum become a forum for whining and whinging? So many of the posts are so negative - credit where credit is due I think, (Vote Biz)

Thank-you msm, dog and evil for counting, but you didn't use dog's "special" abacus did you? I only ask because I managed to get in a category...only four votes were there?

Two suggestions for you msmaxim, 1. close your eyes as you count the votes, or 2. Just call yourself winner like you were going to anyways and trash all the pm's so there can't be a re-count.
