alternatively lobby your government to do the same as these muppets we have over here in the UK and get smoking banned from any place someone works! it's so bad here that if you're a 90 year old who has smoked like a chimney all your life home help can refuse to come in unless you have stopped smoking for an HOUR before hand!
I used to go down the pub with my mates every week, since 1st July I've been 3 times .. Coz ALL my mates smoke and they all refuse to go to the pub anymore.

The general trend that i have been seeing in poker rooms in michigan is that they have banned smoking but allow smoking in designated areas. Most of the areas i have seen are right outside of the poker room, so it doesnt allow smoking at the table but the smokers dont have to go too far away from their hands. I think that is a good compromise for both smokers and non smokers.

Also hate smoke-filled casinoes
I can't stand being in any room inundated with smoke. Of course, people who quit and I did about 8 years ago are the most sensitive of all. Sometimes, these Bingo Halls are really densely packed with smoke as to actually make you begin to feel nauseous.
Secondly, aside from playing poker, I don't enjoy really any of the casino games as the odds are very substantially against you. I had my days of losing in them, and I don't need to be the sucker to keep contributing to their profit margins. LOL.
I haven't really ventured into the world of live poker play but surely I am looking forward to it.
