WSOP November Nine
The November Nine are on a 115-day break and the chipleader is a logger from Maryland who plans on going back to his day-job. He's got the biggest stack but not the biggest name of the November Nine, part deux.
Phil Ivey, considered by most to be the best player in the world, is also in the mix and though he's only got 9,765,000 in chips, he's the name that everybody will talk about the players reconvene in November.
Here are the chip counts of the November Nine:
1. Darvin Moon - 58,930,000
2. Eric Buchman - 34,800,000
3. Steven Begleiter - 29,885,000
4. Jeff Shulman - 19,580,000
5. Joseph Cada - 13,215,000
6. Kevin Schaffel - 12,390,000
7. Phil Ivey - 9,765,000
8. Antoine Saout - 9,500,000
9. James Akenhead - 6,800,000
The two shortest stacks belong to the only non-American players at the final table. England's James Akenhead is the shortest with 6,800,000 and France's Antoine Saout sits in eighth with 9,500,000.
should be interesting to see who will prevail this year and with Phil Ivey reaching the final table it is a big bonu to the organizers and ESPN. pity it is so long till the final table is actually played

Still can't get my head round the logic of going away for 3 months then coming back to play the Final Table. Hope the Brit makes a stunning comeback from such a shortstack.

I can't see past Phil Ivey and I really hope that he can win this one.
I believe that he got to the final table of his 2nd bracelet win this year as the short stack so he can never be ruled out.
I also think that the break will be better for him as any momentum that the other players have at the moment will be lost by the time they reconvene, also if last year is anything to go by the fact that alot of them will get some expert tuition and will play in a few big tournaments will lead to their mystery to dwindle.
I would like to know how much he will win from his prop bets if he wins the main event also.

It would be great for poker if Ivey takes it down. One of the biggest names in poker, wins the biggest game.
Players will probably stay out of his pots, because they know how dangerous he can become if he doubles early. And for sure he will not sit back and wait to move up one place or two like few others might.

Ivey! Ivey! Ivey! lol!
As some of you may or may not have read already I have a .1% stake in Ivey's main event run this year. So I'm for Ivey all the way to the end.
I think he can do it even though he's down in chips based on the psychology alone. Can you image sitting around for 3 months knowing you have to play against the Ivey stare at the end of that time? LOL! I say he has 'em pissin in their pants come Novemeber.
