I was wondering if this has happened at an organised event and if so what was the outcome ..... other than a smack in the teeth

This happened to me at a live game. I play NL tournies at a local casino at least once a week, and they have a big monthly tourney. A couple months ago near the bubble in this tourney, I had just bluffed out an insulting smack talking player, with a draw hand. He folded, and as I mucked the cards, he reached for them and flipped them over. They showed suited 10 J and that I had not hit the flop at all, lol. He called me several names, and the other players sounded off, but to him, not me.
I asked the dealer for a penalty and he called over the tournament manager. The bad guy got a 30 minute time out and a warning of a ban if he did it again. He then called the tourney manager a few names, and got escorted out, and banned. Even though he blinded out, he did make the bubble, so I asked the Manager what would happen to his prize share. He laughed and said, we added it back in to the pool.
