Default keeping journals

i keep a journal of my poker play and was wondering
if anyone had any suggestions for it
ive had this since start a few years ago
i played 536 tournies my 1st year it seemed like a lot
considering 5/6 months of that year i was away fishing
now fishing and fisherpeople are becoming extinct and
im playing much more poker thank the stars
i use lined paper in this journal and it looks sorta like this
place/ cost/totalcost plyrs/plspaid/placed/won/date /ring/comments

anyway thats the idea also its in a duotang so the right side is a full
sheet for where that comments space is
what do you think

should i add anything
does anyone keep a note of every hand of any importance
i also keep a note on every player i play online so if ive played you your noted
i wonder how much memory this has taken on my 2 cps over about 3 years
usually the note say something like 3/08$3re or 3/08 .50r
(re stands for rebuy .50r stands for 50cent ring
then ill add notes as needed
its actually easy when i sit at a tbl i date and value one player and copy
and paste it
to every plr i sit with till tourny or session is over
its a little more difficult at ring tbles cause i play a couple different
blind sizes at a time and i have to copy more often back and forth
but its good to sit and watch notes if im at tourny or ring for 1/2 hour
and i see 3 players with no note icon i know thier new and havent been
studying my play even though i like to change gears
also i might see a player that says 4/06$2re which stands for april
2006 i played him at a $2 rebuy tourny so im pretty sure thier not a total donk
and prolly has a few tricks up thier sleeve that theyve learned in minumum
2 years they been playing
and they might be playing at a higher level say $1/$2 last time they were at
.25ring so i know they moved up in the last two years or whatever
its also kinda fun even though i rarely chat or speak when im playing
to busy lmao but once in awhile ill tell someone somthing like i havent played you since a fnl table in a $3tourny in april of 2006 and thier
usually pretty astounded at my gr8 memory lmao
ill be glad to hear any insight or ideas even critisism if you must lmao
dont be shy plz reply acefishing

My first suggestion is to make your posts easier to read and to understand. Frankly, I'm replying here after reading only the first two paragraphs; i.e. less than half.

Yeah the post is pretty hard to read right now...try spacing it out a bit.

As for journals, i think it's a good idea to do that or download a hand history after you play so that you can learn from what happened. It's only made me better!

One thing I might suggest is trying a new stlyle of play over a couple of week period and see how you fair. Trying playing tight for a couple of weeks and then switch to agressive for a while and see how you do. This may be a good way for you to determine which style fits you best.

i take it your journals are a stream of consciousness like your post..the real question is if your journal is like your post...how do you decipher it? Enjoyed reading your post..made me laugh cuz it sounds like the thoughts going through my brain while playing...don't think you need any suggestions..looks like you got it all covered
