cheating

im just wondering how many people think they were cheated...reply here and of course tell the story

I have been playing poker since long now , but never been cheated .

i've caught players colluding (telling their cards) they screwed up and typed it at the table instead of their instant messenger,,of course i turned the cheating bastids in

I remember a friend of mine was in a tourny 1 day and there were3 Romanians at the table talking in Romanian and thinking noone could understand them...............HOW WRONG THEY WERE

My friend had got so sick of these guys taking everyone else out he taught himself enough Romanian to understand what they were saying and it turned out they were telling each other their cards at the table. My friend had had enough and typed into the chat box

XXXXXXXXXX has these cards

YYYYYYYYYY has these cards and

ZZZZZZZZZZ has these cards.

They were so gobsmacked they never did it at a table again.

As it was only a play money tourny my friend didn't bother to report them but it sure made them think twice about trying to cheat again.

I have heard that there are groups of college students that sit on laptops in the same room of their dorms/houses and sit at the same table so they can tell each other what their cards are so they can eliminate hands that would beat them at the table and than they pool their winnings.

I think they only play at the high levels of a cash game though.

There is another form of cheating. When the site takes your deposit and then won't let you withdraw it or more correctly keeps your deposit. I have been cheated by

My friend's account was hacked into and completetly dumped to another players account. He lost over $3,000 and absolutepoker told him there was nothing they could do about it.

Wow after reading what has happened to you I will think twice before I make any deposits on poker sites in the future, thankyou for sharing this with us, good luck with your other sites.

wow thats good to know about these. ill make sure i stay away from these, there are probably more also

At Sun poker in an other forum's game in July 2007 had a couple of Romanians get the password and were not members of the forum. Members complained to the forum and Sun poker, the response was no more poker games for that forum at Sun poker.

Still think of it like a big joke. Also complained to Sun poker having people with more than one alias playing at same table. See one alias fold for no reason or chip dump to the other. Addresses were the same town in Romania. Allot of forum members were peeved about it.

I still laugh about when thinking about it.
