Online poker just for the fun of it?

Hey,
I don't have much experience in online poker that involves money.

You can choose to play for real cash but these flash games are mostly for fun.
When trying to play for actual money, I found that the fun factor is kind of irrelevant. Once you put money in it, it's all about making more money, and you don't really enjoy it much anymore..

Do you guys still enjoy the game, or do you just play for the money?

I'm guessing it doesn't really matter where I play, the money vs. no money factor is relevant anywhere!

dorr if you look around the forum you will see we are a very friendly bunch take your time jion in some of the games free or real get to know some of the members and see for yourself .the forumdoes have rules just like any other forum . anything you need to know just ask someone will always answer

I think if you freeroll and try to build up a stack, you can think of it like a point system rather than about the money since you are not risking any of your own. Plus, playing poker for fun is funner if the difficulty is a little higher, and it is when money is involved. Play chips poker is rather pointless as most people will play any two cards. With real money, it can also seem like that at certain stakes or certain times of the day, but still, in the long run, it's definitely a more realistic environment to play in if you want to improve on your skills. And who knows, while you keep improving your points, and play for a while, you someday realize that the 5 figure sum on your poker account is real money, and you can cash out If you find poker relaxing, then play chips is still okay, kind of like playing solitaire on your computer, but if you really wanna play, I'd take my tip! Playing poker with real money without prior experience can be hard and a novice might end up losing because of lack of skills. That’s why free roll is a good option to choose to learn some experience. Also look for some training sites and learn the basics such as starting hands and stuff like that. Gain a good amount of experience before moving on to play with your deposits.

According to my poker playing experience, there are 2 types of players one who will only play for the sake of money and other who will play for fun and entertainment purpose. But as you have mentioned once the person started playing with real money, then next time he will surely play for the sake money only. That’s really true.

I play both types of games.
Just depends how much I have had to drink.
The later it gets the more invincible I become.
Play money on PKR is just over $750,000.
Real money $64.12.
I think that is the right way round..
Wass, I don't use play money.
BRL for the freeroll and sit n go double up games for the real money .
I know the sit n go games are open to all Merge players but I find them quite competitive and there are a few regular players that I like/hate, which makes them more interesting games.
So, basically, I play for fun.

Myself,I like to build my bankroll from nothing.Plus I do not take it so serious and that makes it more fun than work.I guess its all on how you look at it.Ih I get too serious,I end up getting impatient,and then then fun is gone,and then I usually get knocked out.So,keep it fun!

i play cause i enjoy the game if i win great if i lose which i do alot oh well with so many sites dont need much of a br to find a game . so gl on the felts
