TILT! - How to prevent it

I feel like a lot of tilt can be avoided if you just take a short break and go for a walk or do something outside the house. There have been several occasions where I wish I would have just taken a walk.

Tilt can completely twist your game upside down.

Clear your head.

Walk away and come back when your heads back into the game.

I have a big sign above my computer station that says one word, "Patience". My wife preaches this to me every time I play poker and when I start getting fustrated, as all of us do time to time, I look back up to the sign. Maybe though if you need to go to extreme put a punching bag next to the station so you can vent.
