Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather
Not to long to the big meeting now guys...
Whats you predictions, are you all typical brits saying "Yeah no doubt, Ricky will beat him"??
Or are there some of you out there that actually understand that he's up against pound-for-pound the best fighter in the world at the moment.
I myself think it will be a very close one, I was so dissapointed about the fight between Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya and I hope this fight will be much better....
P.S.
I hope Hatton stops that ugly mouth once and for all!!!
Go Ricky!!

If i was a betting man, which I certainly am , I will be backing Mayweather to win on points.
Id like nothing more to see Hatton drop him before it reaches that point and those who watch Hatton will know he is well capable of doing so, but unfortunately Mayweather walks the walk and should spend most of the fight on the back foot counter attacking.
Sure to be a classic, i pitty those who miss it.
p.s I thought De La Hoya was unlucky against Mayweather, I had him ahead on points marginally but the judges, for once, went against the Golden Boy.

This is the most exciting match up for ages - so close to call too. Was as real pity De La Hoya wasnt a few years younger else I think he couldve won against Mayweather, but Hatton is a different proposition...
If Hatton can get his weight down early then he'll be in prime condition, else he is in for trouble.
Hatton on points, but close, very close. At least thats where my money is

i think mayweather wins on points, i also think hatton's gonna try and be real aggresive in the early goings of the fight which mayweather prolly anticapates so i think maywether will just use his SICK elusiveness to make hatton miss and mayweather catches him with some fairly decent power shots, and gets ahead early on points and hatton will prolly use whats left in the tank to knock him out in the later rounds and hatton wont be able to outlast mayweathers conditioning and he'll be lookin to clinch by the last three rounds unless he cant cut maywethers angles and time his parries and knock him out early which wont happen.

Mayweathers chin has been tested before, and he is the natural bigger guy, his fight vs DLH was at 154 you know. So I don't think Ricky can do an awful lot with an early Bulls Eye, at least I dont see it happen, I want to see Hatton fight like he did the first 6 against Collazo where he stayed on the outside and boxed with handspeed that could match PBF's, but he cant get lazy and coast like he did in the last 4 against Collazo. Cuz thats exactly what DLH did wrong against PBF, he was ahead mid way through and just was not busy enough in the last half of the fight... got punished!!
