Who will win the Euro '08 Championship?

before italy first match i was sure that we will win(italy)... but now i have see holland and i think that is the better team of the tournament!!

sure i hope of italy final win but is very very difficult!!

my pre tournament tip was holland or italy as long as only one of them qualified from the group, and I stick with that . as long as italy don't qualify I think holland have enough luck to hang on in games and kill the oppos in counter attack .. italy could be their nightmare tho.... later in a tourney holland haven't experienced for years .. italy get there every time .. can't remember the last time you didn't see italy in a quarter final.

outside those two, you have spain (if the coach gets his 1st choice team right, there is no way in hell fabregas is a sub)

Portugal (purely because the winker ronaldo is still on form .. winker.)

and my final choice was going to be germany just because they always seem to be there .. but I'm not going that way . I'm sticking my neck out ....... as long as they don't get more than 1 major injury, Holland have the luck needed to get to the final and the skills needed to win it .. as long as they don't have to play italy again

I bet on Italy after their defeat by Holland . Thought 12/1 was a great price but then only a draw against Romania.

lBet the odds for draw Holland v Romania are small.Maybe I should hedge my bet.

After watching first 2 days of Euro, i would probably say that Netherland and Spain are favorites to me. But i know for sure that most of the time, teams that are playing great football at the beginning of the contest don't reach the final. So, as i am a little optimistic and french, i would say France.
The reason why is that nowadays, France is playing football like Italy used to before. Great game coming up next Tuesday.

It is diifficult to predict who will win it...So many candidates,but I think that Russia could surprise Holland tomorrow...

I also have to say after seeing Russian playing tonight, that they will make it. They play such an offensive football and have enough power and energy to stand through 120 minutes with one day less for getting back in form than Netherlands.

My favourite was Austria, they played really good this year but were scarred of beeing alone in front of the goal and cant hit it)

I also have to say the energy on Austria is fantastic atm, in Graz where i live isnt a game but everywhere public viewings. Wonderful.

So, let´s enjoy the last quarter final game tomorrow.

I bet on Italy tomorrow.

What a win by Russia tonight... but what a game was yesterday, Croatia vs. Turkey... that was boring game until the 119' minute. and then it was something unbelievable.
My guess, after couple games of course, Germany or Spain (and spain will win because couple of the italyan dominant players will miss the match vs. spain).
My favorite team, Holland, is out :-/
