One of the first major clashes of the season today in the premiership.
As important to most Man U fans as the Manchester derby, more important to some.

I think next season after the 2 transfer windows Man City will have strengthened their team sufficiently to be up there again but for today.

I predict that with Rooney having scored midweek for England and Berbatov being a similar foil to Heskey that Rooney could be pivotal today.

I would like to say that there will be 2 hatricks in the game Torres scoring 3 and Berbatov scoring 3 with Rooney scoring a 25 yard volley in the 4th minute of extra time after Alex gave the referee one of his special watches just before kick off. You know the ones that say, do not blow the final whistle until United score the winning goal.

Enough of the sarcasm, it will be a close game with very few scoring oppurtunities, that wanker Gerrard is fit to play for his club rather than his country, but I still think that United will win by one goal. I hope that Carragher makes the mistake coz he deserves to be shown up for the unpatriotic tosser he is also.

If recent history is anything to go by, the game will be decided one of three ways. Either we will be undone by our zonal marking at a set piece, tevez/rooney or some other scumbag will score the usual deflected goal that will be the winner, or the ref will decide he wants to make a controversial decision to get into Sir Rednoses' good books.

If Gerrards fit then so be it, he usually goes missing in the big games in the prem so could be a boost or a hinderence, but it's been obvious in recent weeks he wasn't fit and needed an operation, and after being Englands second best player in the past 4 years (to Joe Cole) I think we can forgive him for missing one International of meaning.

As for Big J.C, it's a shame there aren't more players like him who when they speak, tell it as they see it. I personally thought he might have retired earlier from International football as it was obvious to me he was having the piss taken out of him since Eriksson too charge. How he or McClaren could overlook him and play Wes 'has and never will be International-class' Brown or some of the other clowns like Dawson/King et al.

Given the choice of an England World Cup win or a Liverpool Premiership/European Cup win, it would be the latter every time for me. I'm glad J.C and I'm sure Gerro share the same sentiment..

Hehe, Gerrard and Torres on the bench because they were both not 100% fit, and with 2 top players out yet again the mancs we outplayed by us, only this time they didn't manage to grab an undeserved win.

Everyone (bar maybe Keane) played great, just confirms that without Ronaldo the Scum would struggle to finish top 6, maybe top 10 judging by their current position

Oh well, as hoy sais the one man team got out played today and the best team won, been way overdue.
