Plaxico Buress Saga

New York sports got another black eye aside from the Stephon Marbury circus when last years super bowl hero Plaxico Buress shot himelf in the leg at a New York City nightclub. The good thing from all this is that he didn't spill any of the wine he was holding while unloading the gun. Not exactly employee of the month material he had previous run ins with the team front office when he missed practice to take his 2 year old to school and failed to notify team officals. Then there was another incident during a game when the coach questioned a penalty he recieved and got a profanity laced tirade from Plaxico for his troubles. Details are emarging about a massive coverup by the Giants, the hospital he was taken care of for treatment and the gun bieng possibly taken from the scene by a teamate. His season is over and carrer may be as well. There is the possibility of jail time. The Giants at least had the good sense to make his contract a non guaranteed one contingent on his behavior so it will not count against the salary cap if his playing career is done.

I'm a diehard Giants fan and been one all my life. He is the big loser in all this, plus he's a idiot anyway. The team is doing great without him and will be better off. They don't need him plus to me he is over rated.

I really just can't bring myself to feel bad for these idiots. They have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than to make in professional sports ~ they make their way & then they get all caught up in it and blow it having to play Big Ass Bird in the public eye. Shame he didn't catch something else with the bullet ~ but since it took him so long to screw himself I imagine him doing it to someone else would take some real doing.
