Apparently the Queen's colours purple, scarlet and black have never made it to the winner's enclosure at the Cheltenham Festival, and she's gonna be there on Friday.

I managed to lose my £2 freebet coupon on way to the bookies
I have a triple on Cousin Vinny, Binocular and Quevgea all to win, Animama each way and placepot of 6/18/10/3/1/8. (Alan is te placepot that these horse need to finish in the first4?)

I don't usually bother with the Lucky 15 as if i'm doing a combi bet over 3 horses my stake is so low it's almost not worth picking up one winner. My favourite bet is actually the patent, normally £1. I go for horses in the 4-1 to 8-1 range and if i'm lucky enough to get one winner there it's often enough to cover the whole bet.
Since i started playing poker though i hardly bet any more. I begrudge the sometimes totally random nature of it. I can make more playing poker...usually.

lol step that was an omen.....the placepot is a placed horse in each race m8..

one winner at cheltenham for me today...and the placepot went bellyup in the first....

heres 3 basic lines jo....

1. a single bet...if placed each way the stake is doubled

2. a lucky 15....15 bets ..4 single bets(single winners)..6 doubles(2 winners)...3 trebles(3 winners)...and 1 accumulator(4 winners)

3. a placepot....pick a horse to be placed in each of the first 6 races at one meeting...more than one selection can be made for each race but every extra selection doubles the stake
