Man Who 1 - 4 LIVERPOOL
Not sure how many of you saw the game today, but Liverpool took on the 'unbeatable' and 'all conquering' Man Utd at the Theatre Of Dreams, and after conceding an early penalty dispatched by Ronaldo, came back to win 4-1.
It would be easy to get carried away with such a result, which is exactly what im going to do Their biggest home defeat since 1937 and a huge slice of humble pie. Torres made a mockery of Vidic and Ferdinand, Gerrard ran the midfield, and even the often inept Lucas kept United's feeble attacking efforts at bay. It's a shame Ronaldo and Rooney never got booked for their blatant and pathetic dives, but was funny to see Ronaldo have 6 free kicks and mess them all up, then for Aurelio to have one and ping it in the top corner.
The title will still more than likely go to Old Trafford, but hopefully the result will get the credit it deserves. Fergusons comment that United were the better team is in keeping with his blinkered views and laughable.
Theatre Of Nightmares more like... and to quote Rafa 'you got spanked 4-1, FACT!'

Liverpool were actually not really that good. United were just plain awful. Till Vidic's mistake there was only one team it took 4 defencive blunders rather than any actually real good play on Liverpool's part for the goals.
You may ave won the battle but the war will be ours (both of them)

The only problem with that are the other teams Liverpool keep stumbling up on. Utd still only need to win 7/10 games with the other two not dropping a point
