World Cup qualifiers draw
All the group matches played and Ireland remained one of the few teams to go all ten unbeaten, yet the lucky Italians (i am allowed to say this) squeezed through. So now it is through Ireland's familiar path of the play offs. But FIFA have decided of late to change the rules so as to allow the "bigger" teams an "easier" route into the finals by being seeded and thus avoiding each other.
So we are now a half hour away from the draw with pot 1 holding the "seeded teams" France, Russia, Portugal and Greece with Pot 2 holding Ireland, Bosnia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
I don't mind who we get once we get the 2nd leg at home in fortress Croke Park with the 76,000 cheering us on to South Africa. After FIFA fixing the draw no matter who we get it is going to be tough.

Ouch.....but you never know. Get stuck into them and the little flowers might wilt.

Think that could be a good draw for your boys Step . I think France's pretty football and aging stars could be just the game to suit Eire's style, if they can get stuck in and pressure the French they could well turn em over. And as you say with the Croke Park crowd roaring the French wont know whats hit them

Aye you guys have to go and play on the plastic pitch. At least you hae the 2nd leg at home. would be great for the 4 unseeded teams to go through and stick it to FIFA for trying to fix the draw
