Stoke Saturday night - No Show !!

Me & me arl fella (Bat 95) played on the friday (done crap, so not dealin anymore lol) all well & good.

now come Saturday we turned up at 8.30 only to be told that the tournament started at 6 (wtf), A few guys told us that it was posted on the forum (so me & me pops thought fair do's an oversight by us) but after searching through the live events section I still cant find the post which gives you time details of the starting times.

I know a few ppl put a lot of graft into organising this but I think it would be a good idea to pm or post a memo of the exact details for future live events as myself and probably many others are not on the forum as much as we would like to be & im unable to read every individual post (think there was 40+ pages on the stoke live tourney)...

Hi mate, I'm really sorry about your mixup on Saturday night. This is what was initially posted back in June:

As some may be aware, Stoke Casino has a new manager, Rob. Ive been in contact and can confirm the details for the Septermber Tourny are as follows:

Friday 7th September :

£20 Bounty Game (£10 to pot, £10 on each players head)

---- 9pm start ------ 3000 starting stack ------ 25/50 blinds up every 20 mins

Saturday 8th September:

£20 Freezeout

---- 6pm start ----- 3000 starting stack ------ 25/50 blinds up every 20 mins

It was on the fourth page of a thread that flibbles started after Sal dropped out of doing it.

I think I may be involved in organising the next event. If this is the case, I will be making some sticky posts in the relevant section and making sure they are clear and concise for tourney details. Don't want any muck ups next time.

I know u put a lot of work into stoke (expecially chasing everyone around the casino for the £1 LOL ) was just a shame we never got to enjoy the full stoke expierience .....

I know mate, and the biggest pisser was I was telling Sal I was 99% sure you were coming. Two of you with guests Friday, just the two of you on the Saturday. The game didn't actually start till about 6:30, obviously we wouldn't of been able to wait till 8:30.

I will be doing everything possible to make sure this doesn't happen in future.
