Hi guys

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Stoke 2007?!

It was an absolutely fantastic weekend, and I think that I can safely say that everyone had a fantastic time!


A big thanks to everyone who came to the event - it was great to see so many people there, and meeting so many Wassers! Also, a big thanks to Block912 for taking the time and effort to organise Stoke

Also, a big congratulations to Pastieman for winning the ‘Player of the Weekend’ award with his two final table appearances! He just beat Andy1964 to this prize…even though Andy did have the pleasure of knocking out Jayc1985!


Special mention goes to DannyKeano and Chickster for getting the ‘Spirit of Wass’ award – I don’t think that there was a single person that either of them didn’t speak too…even if it was just to ask if they would hold their pints…just for a minute


Thanks to all of the dealers over the two nights to – it’s not easy to look after a table full of Wassers as well as play a game of poker, and all of our dealers did a great job of it – many thanks!

I am still working on the frontend of the site, so look out for more updates and stories to come!


Personally, I think that this weekend was the best event we have ever had on Wass, and I really can’t wait for the next event!

Nice post doc.

Just to let you all know, I am currently working on getting the next event setup. As soon as I have some developments I will post in the live events section and let you all know.

I think the next one could be the biggest and best one yet.

i have to agree with doc on this one what an absolute great weekend i manage to win a few quid on the roulette but to meet so many of you in stoke was fantastic ..
if anyone deserves the player of the weekend it could only be derek aka pastieman an absolute gentleman. as for danny and chickster what ever you do dont change because you brightened up the weekend for so many including myself .
but can we please have a wass drunk trophy for the next live game i might manage to win something then but saying that i think tina and chickster might have something to say about it .
to meet most of my brl team members was another great highlight of the weekend what a great bunch of teamies so glad i met you all.

and as for dr sal i have to say he has a great sense of humour always trying to make people laugh pleasure meeting you.

only i real dissapiontment over the weekend was jayc taking me out with Q3 lol great play jayc hope i can return the favour in the next live game.
