Mean people suck

Mean People Suck !!! I think that if you can not play poker with out calling people names and being rude to each other then stop playing poker and get some counseling. I am at my wits in on this subject. Everyday when I come into wass there is a new post on someone being a straight azz to a fellow member /player. I am not enjoying wass anymore over this. I see no reason to be mean to each other. Every player has a right to call, play, go all in on any hand he or she chooses too. If you have a problem with it keep it to your self. It is not your place to call some one in the forum names. If you think they are a donk. Why call it out by doing so, you are showing that you are a bigger donk. A true player would keep there mouth shut and take there money/chips. No one wants to play in a game where they are being treated poorly by fellow forum members. Come join wass and be treated like a idiot called names and be disrespected. Now come on people, Doc and his trusted staff of mods have put in many hours and alot of hard work to have a good forum. When you are name calling making people cry and or upsetting a member of wass you are disrespecting the entire forum. There is no fun in the game if you are being abused while playing it. This behavior needs to stop. We need to show respect to each member of the forum. No matter what we may believe there poker skill level is. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Don't put all the hard work that the staff has put into this forum be in vain. Staff is trying to bring more people in and We should do all we can to help them. We should not be running players off by calling them names and treating them poorly at the tables. All of the wass members should treat and be treated with respect.

I agree hami posting this doesnt seem to help,it kinda just draws more attention to something thats going to happen from time to time,listen im a nice guy and to my knowledge ive never had any problem with any members her on Wass.But these Poker Room Chat Fights spilling into the forum,is ridiculous keep it at the tables.

Some people need to have a thicker skin,while playing at the tables.Not everyone is as nice as they may seem.

I can see where your coming from Time but it happens in Poker, anywhere, people have different ways of playing poker, some don't chat and some do, some like to wind people up, some (myself included) have a laugh and joke.

BUT there is no room for personal abuse.

Now I personally don't mind being called names, call me what you want but keep it fun. No personal attacks on other player's and if you do feel like the abuse has gone over the line try to get a chat log, names of players who can verify and pass it on to Admin/Mods who will deal with the player in the appropriate way. Don't forget you can make a complaint to the Poker Site, but if it's a Wass game I'd let the Admin/Mods contact the Site if they deem it necessary.

Like I said, long may friendly banter continue but let the personal abuse cease from our Wass games.

Of course people are going to whinge and moan and whinge at the table, I do it, I am pretty sure everyone on the forum does it, when money is involved and your losing that money then moaning about will happen unless you are absolutely friggin loaded and money is no object, ruling out 99.9% of us. My simple strategy now is that as soon as I see I am losing and going out, I just close the screen straight away, that way I unless I have felt that it was a good game, there will never be a gg or gl etc from me unless i think it is deserved by someone.

i never moan, personally i quite like it when someone has a go at me on a table, think it`s hilarious. also , if you don`t like the way someones talking to you, don`t read it. to be honest it`s getting a bit mary whitehouse in forum lately

I don't think I'm a Mary Whitehouse, I love banter (fun chat) and love you on my tables Sal but all our chat is said as fun and by god you can dish it out. But it's all fun. Some people however go over the top and make it personal abuse, not said in jest (fun) and I'm sorry but I have no room for it. If it were said in a Live game that player would be out or on a timed suspension, and we all know what happened in Liverpool. I'm sure none of us want to see it happen again.
Wass games are for Wassers to enjoy playing poker together and have fun, lets keep it that way and not let it be a place for sum to vent anger and abuse toward our members.
