Wanted to warn u that my son's mate just told us that there is a Virus spreading on MSN with a link to a picture with RAR file..

If u receive any link DONT open it.

Safer to run a virus scan as well.

lol knew u would respond. I can send it to u now if u want lol. Few have seen it so far. It showed up with someone u know on msn with a link.

If u get any links. DONT click on them. I would write back to them and see if they respond. Someone posted on .com the following though -

My girl just sent me messages.

Her display pic was changes to the chessboard and there was a webcam icon so I immediately knew it wasnt her.

I tested it out by asking her questions that only she knew and the person logged off immideatly.

For your benefit test everyone with a question that you talk to.

These come about every so often. At one time everytime I logged on my cousin wanted to send me a pic. That was 2 years ago. I never ever click on any links on msn unless the sender has told me they are sending something, and I am certain who the person is.

When are the not 14 viruses running around on msn? My advise is to ask even if you know the person sending the message. There was one not long ago and im sure it is still out there somewhere that the virus sent the message without the infected person knowing it had been sent if you were talking to that person. Thank you for the heads up though ScotLady.

Damn! Got the virsu yesterday by a Team Member!

I didnt know to take care and i opened the file. At first nothing happend, i finished as 2nd at the Carbon.com game which block won. Congrats again m8.

But than i wanted to enter Internet with Firefox and i wasn´t allowed anymore. Than i tried I-Explorer but had no way too.

I lost nerves yesterday, today i am trying to get some fix-tools on my computer in my shop.

I hope i will resolve the problem soon.

SO: IMPORTANT to all who are talking via MSN to me: DO NOT OPEN THE PICTURE FILE, I DIDNT SEND IT; IT WAS THE VIRUS!!!!!!

Quite a few ppl got the virus last night by the look of it. Its amazing how quick it spreads though.

I personally never got it this time around, hooray for vista & norton. You will have to do a Virus scan. I am assuming u have a anti-virus prog.. If not then go to Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com and they have a few free progs.

Bout all u can do I'm afraid.

But if anyone ever sends u the link again then DONT click on it, I personally just close the window and block them then send them a PM to tell them. Good Luck
