If you own a car in the UK please read this
Hi guys
Without going into the many, many reasons for the recent hikes in fuel prices, and the ridiculous charges that motorists already have to pay, I would urge anyone who owns a car in the UK to check out this and sign it;

Thats correct, its under the guise of a green tax, but under current plans it will affect many family-sized cars registered after 2001. There is also the plans to increase fuel duty by 2p, though it looks like that will be scrapped (if they don't it will be political suicide I think)...
But at least finally there does seem to be some action being taken by the general public...
Cheers
Doc

wohohohohoho i just wanted that confirmed, i thought i read it right
my people carrier is a 2001 model so i think im gona be ok lol ...
cant work out why he is doubling the tax on a seven seater when by owning 1 it takes 2 normal cars of the road .. its green to use a 7 seater instead of 2 cars ( but the goverment loose money if your only taxing a seven seater instead of 2 cars - thats not green ITS FEKING GREED ) ................................
ps - this goverment are stupid enough to commit political suicide with the 2p rise ( they will line there pockets as fast as they can b4 they get booted out .)

I have a Kia Shuma.
1499cc. it is an extenstion of my Tesco's trolley.
I do less than 1200 miles per year.
It would be cheaper for me to sell the car and take a taxi.
But in 7 years time and I will be 70.
The law will change so that I will be banned even though I was a 1st class Police driver working the M4 in 1978.
