After speaking to Doc I have been told that the software is good to go. So first of all I will repeat a bit of the information from the other thread where you can still post your interest, you will find it here: Singles League

The League will run on a WEDNESDAY only at 9pm UK time which is 15.00 Wass Poker time.

The league will run for TEN weeks.

You must play AT LEAST 5 of the games to be eligible for the end game.

The buyin will be $2.20

I hope to get the league started on Wednesday the 30th of July, so if you want to enter I will need to know by Tuesday the 29th at the very latest to make sure I get you in.

I'm hoping to be able to pay 50% of the entry fees out per tournament and hold 50% back for a final game.

If this is possible, the final game (which will be after the 10 league games) will be a staggered chipstack game. Whereby the minimum starting stack will be 1500 chips, you will be able to start with more chips depending on your final league position, thus giving the players who perform better over the course of the league the best chance of finishing in the money. However it still means that everyone else, no matter where you finished will have a chance of being the overall champion and winning the most cash. It also will help to keep the league turnout high, as people struggling in the weekly tournaments will still have a chance in the end game.

If the above is not possible then the prize money will go to the highest league finishers. But the above is my preference for the league.

If I have lost anyone off here, as its quite a long post, or you want more info please let me know and I'll post it in here.

I must be getting old, I am sure that I registered my interest for this but I can't see it. Dementia setting in.

I have just finished watching a similar thing on telly,the european poker thing with a staggered final table.

The 2 people who battled the heads up were the 2 people who started the final table as the shortest stacks. So everyone has a chance.

Looks good Block.I just noticed the last two games of the Singles League are going to run right into my Reading "Live" Week Away From The States Vacation

So i automatically can't play game 9 and 10.Would it be worth me even playing from the start?

P.S. But maybe a friendly Wasser has a spare room,and PC during this time for me to get to my League Game from(jk)

Hi deano the tenth league game will be the 1st of October so the final game will actually be the 8th of October. The league standings will determine your chipstacks for the final game. As you only need to play in 5 of the 10 league games to qualify for the final you would be eligible as long as your home on the 8th. It would mean you will have played 2 games less than everyone else but depending on your performance in the other 8 you may still have a decent chip stack. Personally I would still play.
