There were a few incidents tonight where people were displaying the Wass avatar and yet they were still taken out by someone else wearing the same avatar. As for saying its not always going to be possible to check down we manage it in the BRL and we do it because its team play. A lot of us were under the impression the OFC was also about team play and when we had fellow team members taking us out without a care it was very disheartening. There has been talk about the OFC for weeks now. We have all been encouraged to take part and support wass and a lot of us did that and a lot of us also played a team game but the selfish ones who decided to be in it for themselves spoiled the game and the team spirit for the rest of us.

I watched wassers who were short stacked and in need of team help being called and taken out when it was only the 2 wassers in the hand. I watched wassers raising other wassers every time they were in the BB and I also watched some wassers play a truly wonderful team game and help out ther fellow wassers.

IF SO THEN IF IT WAS MY THREAD I WOULD NAME THE FEKKERS AND EMBARRESS THEM + LET EVERY1 KNOW WHO NOT TO TRUST TOMOROW NIGHT .

BUT I THINK MOST OF THEM ARE JUST WASS POKER MEMBERS + PROB DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE THE FORUM IS LOL

DONT FORGET THERE ARE A LOT OF ACTIVE WASSERS WHO REALY ARE JUST FREEROLL WHORES + EVERY CENT COUNTS TO THEM HOWEVER THEY GET IT

yes I was suprised! because of "Team Play" I didnt go all-in with my pocket aces in the begining of the hand because he was a team mate!

first hand ahead of the BB went all-in with 450 then my team mate and I called, not all-in because of respect.

flop came - check - check
turn - my teamate was all-in and I followed

he caught trips on the turn.

what a set up!


He went on to the top 50.

I have played the OFC for another forum and never! never had a team mate do that to me!

Granted Im not looking for a team mate hand out but just some respect that HEY! Im a team mate! check it down and let the person with the best hand have it! thats all?

This was my first and most likely my last OFC for Wass.

To answer your question Git, Yes the ones I witnessed doing this are all members of the BRL, play in other wass games and are regular posters. I was in chat for the entire game and the chat room was very busy and there were lots of very disgruntled wassers in chat who couldn't believe these other wassers were doing to their team members. I have only ever played in the OFC once before too, and that was for another forum, a very small forum but we may have only had a dozen players but when we are at the same table team play came into play and we didn't deliberately take each other out.

Stew is right, we had four Wassers on our table and we were team playing fine. I did have to remind Stew to stop picking on Paul (swfc) once but after that we worked together like any BRL team members would have.

So Stew, Paul and Finny (Vavaulahi) take a bow. You are true Wassers and we did the forum proud for as long as we were in.

I am happy to say that ALL wassers on my table last night played well and as a team. Well, not quite all, but there are occasions where raises will happen and u just have to fold to your team mate. With so many WASSERS playing it is very difficult to be perfect all the time with 3 or 4 WASSERS per table but I think basic rules such as checking to the river, when olny WASSERS in, should be standard play here. Only time I would say otherwise is if ur very short stacked and need the chips more than your team mate, AND they can afford to lose chips already put in.

Shame we only came second but SuitedPockets did have more players than us...

Something to think about...
After I where out - I started following a few wassers I didnt recognize - and there name where not on the attending list posted elsewhere..
I saw 'em take out two wassers by purpose... and a bit later they had changed avatar after changing table.

Next time - kill all wassers you dont recognize.

Yes we are all posting remarks of the poor display of team work and I agree with most that these part time freeloader Wass members are only in it for themselves. Greed of course must be the only answer. However, from what i saw yesterday from the regular BRL members, team work still prevails.

Just to confirm with anyone who didn't know, I was not playing for Wass this weekend. I tried to inform Wassers of that fact when they came to my table.
I play OFC games for the first forum I ever joined, which is pretty small. There were only 11 of us in the freeroll and 3 including me in the buy-in.
At my table for most of the games were a lot of Wassers. Some played a team game and some did not. It seemed like a mixed bag to me.

It was my impression that some of the Wassers did not know they were supposed to be playing as a team. Perhaps that could be made a little more clear before the next OFC game and maybe avoid some of the problems in this thread. Just my two cents.
