I agree about removing the 10 minimum for the games that do not carry any added value or guarantee. I think that would get more people playing those games because people would know they will definitely be on. Also it will reduce the number of negative posts appearing after these games don't start (people posting their disappointment).

I agree with the suggestion that entry into freerolls should be contingent on playing a certain number (maybe 2) of buyin games.

I think the idea of winning entry into another game is a very good idea.

However in answer to the question asked: I will play as many Wass games as I can without anything extra so I am not necessarily the target audience.

Why not bring back the 1 vip games nightly to wasspoker but dont make them a silly rebuy game like they was. A maximum of 1 rebuy or a straight freezeout. This will take people back to wasspoker and may even encourage a few to deposit to get the vip points.
I know when these were run on CD poker they were a good sucess and enjoyable games.

I do not have any cash on wass so do not play the games there.

I agree that perhaps some wass buy in games should have the minimum requirement removed and the password removed, especially if there is no added value to them.

i agree on removing the minimum if i look at a tourny with 10 mins b4 start and minimum not reached i wont bother regging but if theres no minimum people might reg right at the end just for the easy game with not many players lol

also does merge have the ability to do late reg ? maybe for 30 mins after start ?

also doris idea about satelites ( not sure how + what + when ) but maybe something can be set up there ?

i agree with most,but i dont give a shit how it gets sorted, i just wont to have a good game of poker with my wass m8s. its the same 8 or 9 players week in week out. i dont play the free rolls so i dont give a toss about them. just wont the cash games back, cash add or not.

Same as Alan here, I didn't think about this thread when I posted in the other:

On the way home from work I was thinking... what about having the BRL one day on the weekend and a singles buyin league the other day. I actually also thought I can't dare post that they will have my head but since Alan did I am not as scared to suggest it. That would take a lot of stress off of the BRL ~ teams could certainly gather a crew for one game a weekend easier (no one would have to play out of obligation when they would rather do something else). It would also allow those without a team to play a singles competition (they could also decide to join BRL it's numbers could grow). We could actually have a game of competition amongst each other that had a cash reward ~ it could be a decent game I think, with a little planning. A snazzy game name for it would catch attn in the lobby and draw folks in to the forum because they would see a decent number of players and nice money to be won.

Several folks here play in a league on another forum. You could run the singles game here on Saturdays after the other league has finished (it starts 12:00 lt so it would be more time friendly to start later for many reasons) & Sunday everyone here could devote to their team game. Would free up folks for the weekend and I think better results would be seen at the tables.

Not sure if folks are reading the other thread but hopefully they are looking here and trying to generate ideas to get things moving at the tables.

BRL= Bragging Rights League

It's the forum league. Forum members play team poker, for no money as we chip dump and talk the cards amongst our teammates ~ well some do, others just carry on on the messenger, but the choice is their to discuss their cards if they like.

Points are awarded based on how each team member finishes the game. It's very fun.
