I have seen Red hot chili peppers, Orson and Embrace and i am going to see Foo Fighters in November. The chilis would have been an amazing gig if the venue wasnt rubbish and the band werent arguing between themselves and Embrace were just rubbish but the venue was excellent. Orson are amazing live a must see

you may not believe this one but a friend of mine got me a crew job on a Rolling Stones gig in Frantfurt about, oh, 18 years ago or so. it was just helping out building the main stage mostly for about a week.

the day before the gig, they announced that they needed 2 crew members to run the video cables onstage for the 2 shows. luckily the job fell to my crew and i ended up running the cable on the main stage, spending most of my time avoiding get tripped over by Ron Wood.

hard work but what an incredible experience to be on a stage with one of the great rock bands and getting a glimpse of how it feels to have an entire football stadium screaming at you (or at least in my direction) on the stage.

Default Mostly free concerts

I don't like the prices of concert tickets so most of the ones I have been to I won off the radio.
I got to see Barenaked Ladies for free with Dido opening for them back when they first started and Dido was a no name.
I answered the question "What is circling the bullpen?" to win Joe Walsh tickets with Kenny Wayne Sheppard opening. Kenny was great and played till Joe got there 2 hrs late and drunk...lol.
I got to see Jewel (OMG my favorite musician/songwriter of all time!!!) at a rodeo in San Antonio.
I went to Ozzfest for FREE this year!!! Ozzy is so awesome to do that.
I never thought I would get to go to Ozzfest and when I heard it was free I was skeptical ....so I checked it out and it was TRUE!!!

Hi there,

wow that's quite an impressive number there. You seem to be well into music. I love music myself. I noticed the police where in your list there. I am a fan of the police myself. I have never been to a live concert though. The closest i have been to them is listening to my cd on my way to work. lol. I would love to go to a live aid concert. I watch them on the tele. They always have great bands playing. I have been to one concert. I took my daughter to see steps a few years back. She was a big fan of them. I have to admit i am not a big fan of steps lol, but i did enjoy myself. lee29.
