Seeing theres a lot of brits around these parts I'm hoping there's at least one or two of you out there whos punk fans or like the music...
Ramones got me hooked about 3-4 years ago, and I didn't listen to any other punk band for like 6 months. Then I bought London Calling and Never Mind The Bollocks unheard just because I knew they were classics. After that I got soo hooked on punk I spend every spare dime I had on buying new cd's of bands I never heard or heard of, I had just heard they were on the '77 scene, I still hope to see Billy Idol, The Damned, Uk Subs and Sham 69 before its too late...
Uk Subs, Ramones, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Damned and Generation X is my top list, but I'll listen to anything as long as its 'real' punk...
dead kennedys were ok not sure if its puck as such..
crass an anti nowhere league were good back in the days to wheen i was 17 lol i still have a few classics as yup i used to be a punkrocker, mohawk an all an h8 the system lmao ftw!! lmao
Here's the pioneers, some people thing that punk was created in London form their punk scene, but it was actually the Ramones, formed in '74 comming out of the dog shit piled cbgb's who was the godfathers of punk, and people thinks that punk is all noice.... listen to their biggest hit!!
I have someone special in mind everytime I hear this song...
