I myself cannot agree with that
But to each their own that's what makes the world go round...
Pink Floyd (I highly recommend Pulse, or Live at Pompeii) or a little Clapton or some Ac/Dc ~ . Gilmour, Clapton and Angus are no slouches
I compare rap to beer. I love alcohol and beer is alcohol, but I could never get a taste for it. Same with rap for me.
My boys know there are 2 rules in the house ~ pants must cover their asses at all times and if rap blares through any stereo at home the one its playing on gets tossed right out of the window so far we haven't lost a stereo and I am proud to say I don't see any cheek action either

Well I'm not so expert about music, I can't recognize if a rapper belongs to the old or the wew school, but I don't mind rap music (not italian rap actually),to say a couple of names I like Eminem, 50 Cent, The Coup..

Have to agree with you there Dori. I love all kinds of music. Well I say all but I do have acceptions.
The only time I hear any kind of Rap is when my daughters come to visit and take control of the music channels on the TV.

Can never understand how someone can listen to just one type of music, i love a bit of reggae but will listen to almost anything, if you saw what i had saved on real player you would know what i meant, there are some great rap tracks, but never get bogged down in just one type of music
