My Nottingham/Newcastle story part 1
This time my trip went great from start to finish... a bit of waiting on the mainland when I got home but other than that it was great.
I left the island on Sunday to spend a few days with a dear old friend that I have not seen in years. We had had a great time. shoping and doing nada.
On Tuesday we went to Lotte's house to see where she lives with her new boyfriend, and wow is that a looooooooong drive and in the middle of nowhere lol. One night to go untill we leave for Nottingham and the kid still had not packed her bags............ bloody kid. So I had to help her. She kind of did not want to leave her boyfriend............. wonder why
Well Wednesday morning came and I meet up with Lotte at the trainstation at 7am (god that was early). Well we figured since the plaine did not leave untill 10:50 we would have plenty of time to get our bags checked in and eat a good breakfast. Gues again: Bloody regdesk did not open untill 9:00. We got our way to the toilet where we spent a good time getting our faces sorted out Finaly got ridd of those bags and went on to get some food and a last siggy before we hit the duty free shop to buy some siggys.
The plaine was half full so JIPPI............ I think I sleeped for a wee while. I have to say, if I shall travell to England again I am defo travelling with this airline and at that time of the day, nice service and not a great deal of ppl on the plaine.
Well we finaly got to Nott and wow was the weather there warm, we had to take off our jackets and sunbade As usual Cille got the times wrong I had told Rob that the plaine landed an hour later than it did (norwegian time LOL) so he was a bit late (after my instructions) getting there....lol But we got about 1 hour in the sun.
Finaly Rob came and with a big smile on his face as always Lotte went totaly quiet for some reason she stoped talking after we got to england....... so she left all the talking up to me, and you all know how my english rambling are LMAO poor rob.
After about 25 min in the care we got to Rob and Daves appartement. They live over a hairdresser. Realy nice place Have to say that I just loved Nottingham from the moment I landed .
Hannah robs girlfriend was there meeting us with theire lovely dog Shasmin. After us getting a wee bit sorted getting our bags up to the room (no dungon this time ). Hannah, Rob, Lotte and I went out to get some dinner at Nandos. Xan and Dave was not home yet after theire flight from the States.
First time ever Lotte has ben to Nandos and she loved it
Back to the appartement and Xan and Dave arrived, wow where they tired after almost 2 days without sleep. We all hit the sack early. I woke up in true Cille style 5am .......ugh....... tried to tip toe down to the telly without waking up anyone......... not very easy when every door and stair make loads of noices ....LMAO
Finaly got how the tv worked and sapped like crazy to find someting to watch while's the others where sleeping.... ended up falling asleep on the sofa LMAO
Dave and rob went of to work and Hannah took Lotte out to her parents place and was there almost all day. Xan and I just took it slow, because we knew that Rob and Dave would get back later with loads of boxes for us to sort out They had said it would be, Xan, Lotte, Hannah and me doing this....promisses pormisses lmao Lotte came back from her day out with Hannah sick, she got the flue so she was no help. Hannah had to read since she is in her final year at uni (hope thats right lol). Rob and Dave just dumped the boxes with us and fast tellikng us how they wanted it pakced............ So as the nice and polite girls we are we just did all the work without any compliants (right Xan ). After about 5 hours we where finished and sore as hell after sitting on the floor, hard work this packing of hoodies and t-shirts for all the wassers.....LMAO
Rob was now out playing his football game, they won it
Dave came back and was gonna help us but as the man he is he can't fold hoodies, I had to learn him how
Finaly after a all that work Dave took us out to a itatlian place to eat, 45min to wait for the table on a Thursday we kind of forgot that it was valentinsday lmao. After a bit sitting in the bar, me drinking a cosmopolitan (yeah i was drinking ) think it went to my head lmao. We had a great meal and headed back to the appartment to sort out our bags to bring to Newcastle the next morning. Hit the sack early
End of part 1............. takes a loooooong time to write this and need a break lmao.
