first I gotta say I am really proud to be a member of Wass and never met a crazy bunch of people like that before xD
Im so glad that I could manage it this time to get to a live event coz the last time I had to travel due to work
and I also normally had to work that weekend but told my boss early to feck off and that I would need a bit of free time to meet all my online friends over there at Newcastle
my trip started on the friday morning at Munich, took the train for almost an hour from the city centre to the Airport - checked in for my Easyjet flight (mistake 1 lol, remind me never to take easyjet again lol) and got there in time
the flight was to Edinburgh and got out of the airport, took the bus to the train station (was even able to understand the scots eek) - just missed the first train and got to the desk to buy my ticket
mistake no.2 lol - feck u got a laptop and are always online but u cant book a train ticket online for UK which had been much cheaper - damn, fekn 43 pounds with return ticket ... *sick*
mistake no.3 - when is the train to return to Edinburgh fro sunday morning - doh, dont expekt that the british train system is well organised like the german one that u are normally used to - no train before 10 in the morn on a sunday
yes ur fucked up now lol, ur flight is at 10.55 on the sunday, okay ... no train, no coach ... feck, just realised that there is actually no way to get back for my return flight on sunday
ok well, just jumped in the train to newcastle and met an english, that I was talking bout everything during the 1h45min to Newcastle - footy, poker, sports, jobs and so on
he also helped me to get a rough idea where the casino is about in Newcastle from the train station
finally arrived there and called mortas on his mobile and he helped me to get to the casino
arrived there with all my bags and when i entered the casino, I met natsdad and a few others - let my bags at the desk there and took the photo, I thought I cud be the first german member at the Grosvenor at Newcastle but even there, we already invaded the country lol - got my card and entered the casino, first ive seen there was the scary "Jesus" Dave lol - handshaking and so on and tryin to get familiar with all the new faces for me
was great to see Graham (fudgie) and shaz, just followed by my darling Tinalou, Trish and many others
than finally she arrived: Cillepus
that was the most important person I wanted to see as I was nagging her all the time on the messenger before and was so nice to finally meet her live xxx hugs darling
all were very welcoming and also a special rexpect to oups, who made the trip to UK to meet all wasser - I think there is no need to regret to make that long trip
wass is very special and it is unbelievable how welcoming you all are, even tho we just met online before and never had seen u lot before - from the first second ive been there I realised that you are true friends and it as the feeling as ive known you for years
well the tourney started and there was the bounty, ummm better forget this lol, had 2 playable hands all nite and folded 3 6 off suit when graham was short stacked and went all in on my big blind ... ummm shudda called that lol - coz just a few hands later, guess who took me out lol - my fellow teammate fudgie the budgie
stayed there and kept an eye on cille and debs - wow u both were on a streak that weekend, unbelievable - I guess Mark knows now who got the panties on in da house lol :P
at 2am or so we got back to mortas with Hannah, goodyin and Donna (the witch
) and even played a round of poker afterwards, mortas beat me in HU arggg
next day I thought I might get luckier in the tournament as it was no bounty game but umm well, not really many decent hands and out on a bad beat - goodyin raised in early position and I went all in on A10 hearts, he felt committed and called on A7 off - of course the 7 showed up and no 10 or flush came ouch - that was quick and i had to take the piss lol
so back to the basics from the day before and watching my ladies cille and debs lol - and they kept on winning again (think there was something going wrong, normally I shud keep on winning ermmm ?! lol)
we tried to organise my trip to Edinburgh for the sunday morning and special thanks to cath (kisscurl), hami the bugger and the one and only git
it was sooo sad that I had to leave in a hurry that night and cudnt say bye to all, mortas had to work the next day and we left at about 1.30 am - well for the next live event I know that the work has to fuck off and I need one or two days off to organise the trip
the sunday was not bad visiting mortas at work and played pool, had a few drinks and afterwards met at skunkrs to play a decent round of poker, again beaten in HeadsUp *sick* lol - wasnt my weekend for poker lol - the meal there was delicious, thx mrs skunkr!
finally got my return flight sorted for the tuesday morning, called my boss and also had a phone call at 4.47 in the morning on the tuesday lol
the monday was my day off and mortas was showing me Newcastle and the peers, really relaxing to walk down there and just feel the fresh breeze from the water
afterwards watched a kinda cruel movie, hardly remember the title but was interesting
gone to bed at midnite coz i had to stand up at 5, took a cup of coffee and taxi was bringing me to the train station at 5.30
the train to Edinburgh started at 6.25 and just arrived in time for the check in at the easyjet desk - 5 minutes before they closed the flights
alright, prepared myself for a fast journey but the fog had something against that lol - all flights delayed from 1h up to 5h, even sum got cancelled
had to wait almost 2 hours before we could take off and there been a lot of Aberdeen fans on that flight for the match at Munich at the Uefa Cup (Aberdeen got smashed 2 days later and lost 5-1 away
)
took the train back to my lil room at Munich and was tempted to go back to work afterwards but sod it lol, needed a bit time to relax - called mortas and said that all was ok and i arrived safely in germany

but today my boss called me and I will get a live event sponsored in April at Vienna and Freddy Deeb and Phil Hellmuth also gonna be there so am really looking forward to it yay
