YES i agree with zed that 1500 or even 2000 chips should make it more competatif than the 1000
we get now, to much early allins and to early the blinds get involved in the playing.

I have a feeling that the 1,000 stack was an oversight in the transition, glad someone is bringing it up, as it is quite different, especially with the field expanding from 70 to 80 players.

1500 chips would be an improvement as the blinds get high pretty quick. 2000 would be better... mind you, I think the game wouldn't finish until 1am BST with the later start time if we went to 2000 chips.

I feel the same way - 1000 is not enough - 1500 is fine - 2000 would perhaps make the tourney end to late - I dono, but it would be fun to test and find out about it

I THINK 1000 CHIPS IS PLENTY, BLINDS START AT 10-20 .
ADDING MORE CHIPS WOULD JUST MAKE THE GAME LONGER.

leave it the way it is .. it already takes 2 hours if u get to FT and has been made later to accomodate some other random forum, put the chips up to make the game last longer? .. no thanks.
