we put our own money into it sorted it our for months and they come in take over and say nothing.

i am just so glad the trophies went to trish and daisy. i dont want to hear oh but they give out trophies at the live events and dont moan (paid for by the profits of the sites they run).

I must be under one big missunderstanding.

You see I have always thought that to play poker you must be an adult, so it stands to reason that everyone on a poker forum will be an adult. Well we are either full of kids, or a bunch of people who need to fecking grow up.

Some people, tricks in particular, work very hard running the brl. Just because a few rules are in place and you don't like them, the toys come out of the pram again.

Do you kick off whenever rules in your everyday life are against what you want? If I had done that I would have been constantly at my bosses door moaning.

Basically, if you don't like the new rules and its too much for you to do, then go away and leave the people who are willing to follow them to play the games.

I NOTICED THE REAL ACTIVE MEMBERS DRIFTING AWAY FROM WASS AND THE REASON THEY WERE GOING - THATS WHY I HAVE BEEN POSTING ( MOANING ) POSTS - I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LET ADMIN KNOW WHY PEOPLE WERE GOING .IF YOU CHECK ALL MY MOANING POSTS YOU WILL SEE THEY SAY THE SAME THING - " LET THE ACTIVE MEMBERS HAVE SOME SAY OR CONTROL OF THE WASS GAMES - THE PROBLEMS HERE ARE - SPONGERS INVADING WASS GAMES AND PLAYING LIKE MUPPETS AND DRIVING THE DECENT PLAYERS OUT + ACTIVE MEMBERS NOT BEING TOLD WHATS HAPPENING HERE UNTIL HOURS BEFORE IT HAPPENS , OTHER FORUMS ASK ACTIVES IF THEY THINK THIS CHANGE OR THAT CHANGE IS A GOOD IDEA AND THEN GIVE THEM PLENTY OF NOTICE BEFORE THE CHANGES ( MAIN POINT HERE IS THE POINTS CHANGEOVER LOL )

Well I have been reading and watching this for days now...been back and forth on what I want to say.

1. A rule has been made to try and help the forum become a better place again. I guess we assumed too much by asking the active members to help out and be the example. So I guess not one of you members moaning gives a crap about making this a better place. because honestly thats all I have read. Blah blah I hate this person and that person and they didnt do this and they didnt do that ..You have a problem with anyone..take it up with that person..dont take it out on the forum as a whole. So what your pissed at dave or xan or me..or whoever. Tis nothing to do with the forum itself. we all know this forum has survived on its loyal members. But none of you are loyal enough to try and help us get this forum back up? Do any of you realize its just myself and trish and the mods left running this place?? We bust our asses trying to help this forum and try to get order back ..and all we get from all of you is cry...moan...bitch...cry...moan some more.

I have been watching the moaning and watching my mods struggle to put some sense on it all...you all have finally made most of us want to quit. Congrats. The only people you had left fighting for you has finally had enough of your shit.

Why this has become a huge deal is beyond me...its 2 posts for gods sake. TWO...is it going to kill any of you to try and help support us and get our forum back?? Or is it you dont want a forum anymore? If thats the case then it is no use for any of us to try and help anymore.

And dont any of you dare say we dont listen. We listen to you all every day. We have tried our best...who do you think has been keeping this forum barely above water lately?? And in return all we get is the disrespect of people crying over 2 posts. This whole thing has truelly saddened myself.

I have also been reading this thread and watching whats been happening in it for the last few days. 2 post is no big deal. Most of us love to do a bit of spamming so 2 posts should not be a problem.

Why don't all the long serving wassers prove that this place can run and be fun without the bosses. Our mods/admin do a damn good job on this forum and all they get from us in return is negativity and complaints. I used to run my own forum and know how hard it is to keep it running and active. Thank you to all the mods who make this place what it is. You are all under appreciated and it is not right. If people don't want to post on the open forum then go to another forum. Stop complaining and start enjoying what is on offer here again. So what that Dave, Rob and Xan are not about these days.....we still have Gary, Trish, Wendy, Stephen, Alan, Jax, Graham, Barty etc. They are doing their best for us and this forum and if we are not going to support them and get this forum back on it's feet then we only have ourselves to blame for that.

2 post is not asking much of anyone so either post and play BRL and enjoy the forum or stop moaning and go somewhere else.

Rules and Structure for "Braggin Rights League"

1/ Eight members per team will be eligible to play each game, subs and other members will be unable to play in the game. A maximum of 15 members is allowed in your squad, if you wish to have more then the suggestion is you make another team up. If your squad is not sent to Tricks27 on the Friday before each new month then you will not be able to play in that month

4/ Team members must maintain active status for the duration of the league, failure to keep active will result in your loss of points for your team. By active this means you must post at least 2 posts per month (outside of BRL threads) and have posted at least once in the previous month if you are joining a team. you may add a member to your team who does not have active status but they cannot play until that goal is reached , which is 50 qualifying quality posts, not to include spam,and admin have assessed their situation. If they are live event players then they need only to have posted in the month previous
If a member is found not to be active but they do play then they will be banned from playing for that month


5/ There will be NO berating of players on the table. You WILL be infracted and receive a suspension of 2 games. Keep it clean. Friendly Banter encouraged. If there is a problem, please take a screenshot or copy the chat and we will deal with it. If we dont get a screenshot to back it up there is very little we can do about it.


6/ "Final Table Bonus Points", each final table finisher will receive bonus Team points on a sliding scale 10 - 1 .... 1st = 10 points, 10th = 1 point, these points will be added to the collective team points for that days game. This will put an extra 55 points into the mix and we should see a bit more league position movement.

7/ All team captains need to send me their provisional list of team entries to the tournament no later than 1 hour before the game starts, but then have until the game starts to make any changes to the team you have already sent to me. If however you do not send me your provisional team list 1 hour before then the team will stand from the last game that was played. Please also make sure to post your team and any changes you make in the 'post your team lists here' thread.This is being ignored but i am now implementing it like we used to do, so please take note

8/ Team captains please remember, team alterations are only implemented via PM to tricks27, alterations to team details listed in Team Threads will not mean automatic update of this Team List. please also use the team list thread to post your team and any alterations. If you do not send me the list 1 hour before the start time the whole team will be ignored and therefore no points for any members

9/ SITOUTS. If a player is found to be sitting out after 20 minutes then their points will automatically be void and players move up positions accordingly for points. Disconnections will still be counted as sit outs. if you have a player that has been sat out for 20 minutes they are to continue sitting out and not play, to either dump chips or take out other players. if after they have been told to sit out because they are late and their points wont count, but continue to play then they will be suspended from the game for 2 games and the team will have 10 points deducted off their final score for the day so it is up to you to inform your members of this new update to the rule

10/ If too many members from a team are registered to play then half of the collective points for that team will be deducted before bonus points are added. That player will also be suspended from play for 2 games.

11/ Teams are to EITHER use their team avatar or when asked what their team is then reply accordingly.

12/ COLLUDING. If you are caught colluding with another team to try to stop another team from winning etc then the matter will be discussed with both teams and the team concerned and it may result in disqualification for the month, or if it is at the end of the month then disqualified for the following month.


13/ the only time the game will be cancelled if the forum is shut down and does not come back up by 20 mins before the start. All captains and co captains should have the passwords for the month and should also have other ways of contacting their members if the site is down, failure to do so is your fault, the game will go ahead.


14/ The biggest rule is too have fun. These games are all about fun so what happens at the tables stays at the tables we don't want to see any arguments spilling over to the forum because someone 'donked you' or played bad. Remember its only a game.

Edit... I think i should add anything to do with eligibility to play will not take effect until Augusts BRL.

you can shove the post rule for the main forum as it is not on its a brl game not an open forum game with its own set of players who may only be interested in posting in the brl section, its very unfair to ask players to do this without any feed back from them. theres an old saying if its not broke dont fix it . plus are we going to invite other forum members who dont play in the brl to post in the brl section NO so why make brl players post were they dont want to . I take the point a lot do already and i have myself but I dont want to be made to do it . I have played at wass for along time but will not be posting just for the sake of it in the main forum so thats my enjoyment of playing in the brl gone when this comes in to force thanks , I will be posting on the main forum today to see how many other players are pissed off with this mybe we could even have a poll ?. other wise its not a forum it it if the players in the forum have no say as to how it is run.

Give me a fucking break. The BRL is a part of the FORUM. It was setup to be played by members of the FORUM. It was never meant to be a seperate game for people away from the FORUM.

Can you see the link in those sentences. If making two posts per month is too much to ask for anyone, then I suggest you all do something about it. STOP PLAYING. If you can't follow a few rules that are setup for the good of the forum, then as far as I am concerned you are not worth having here.

If you don't like my attitude towards this then I don't give a shit, because I don't like yours.

Seriously, I say get everyone to post if they are willing to make the 2 posts, everyone that is can stay in the brl, everyone who isn't, well you can go and find yourself someone who is willing to give up their time to run it for you.
