Sorry for posting this late everyone. With the BRL not happening last weekend I seem to have got out of the BRL habit.

I was on the way back from the pub tonight (a very rare occurence, can't even remember my last night out!) and had a sudden revalation that BRL starts again this weekend.

We haven't managed to add any new players since last month I'm afraid. Reminder to everyone: if you know or see anyone who could join our team please let me know.

i tried to reqruit a couple of players but no bothered to get back to me

I have checked the squad for eligibilty and have editted out those who have not posted. This only leaved us 9 players available for the month. I will post the team without motor as he hasn't played for a while and I don't know if he is planning to play or not.

Although I am putting the other 8 players down for both games this weekend, I am not expecting everyone to play both games. Please turn up and play the games that you are happy to play.

Hey Adam, is it just me or does it seem like maybe GPT is falling to the wayside? When i first joined up here with you guys we literally had to ask to have spots open to play and now when don't really even need a team thread because of our lack of activitiy! I am actually of 2 minds on the subject because now -a-days every weekend there are so many games going on that it seems crazy to try and schedule a free game that doesn't even pay the winners what they are due but then again its more about the friendships and comraderie then about the money right? That being said it is kinda sad that we can't find more then 5 or 6 friends to hang out with here. Sorry all just a thought on an early sat morning

I hate to say this, but for now, looks like i'm stuck working every freaking weekend for a while. Had it to where i could get sundays off, but owner changed my schedule back due to slow business and the store manager is salaried and could use their hours somewhere else, and for what i'm making , it is better for them or something.

The only real possibility may be getting off a little early on Saturdays now and then to get to play, but not very likely.

This isn't my choosing but its what i must do atm unfortunately, so you guys rock on, and if all possible, maybe if we are slow, i can catch you guys on next Sat.

The hope is that they will be opening a new store in the future where i can become the new manager there, (If i do well where i'm at now) and then i can get those saturdays off.

But until then, there isn't much i can do unless a better job comes along, and i take it.


Talk with you guys soon hopefully, and Adam, if you leave chat on, i might be able to find some time to talk with ya tomorrow.

i looked over the new BRL they may start. i like it.

make me captin now so i can be at meeting. i wanna find out how many other teams got screwed outta their winners freeroll.

I will report in full about the meeting. I don't think Trish will be accepting any new captains before the meeting.

Block has always been confident that we will be able to get our freeroll and he has now asked me when we want it.

We did discuss it last weekend but I confess I have forgotten what we agreed and haven't asked Block to arrange the game yet. Could someone remind me what we said?

Motor we need you back in the team when you are able to join us. It is really tough when we are going into games with 5 players as we are atm.

Good news: Donchaos has pmed me and is hoping to rejoin the team next month. He apologises for not letting us know what is going on with him but has had too much going on in his business which has taken his mind off poker and even off his team mates. I hope he will post on the team thread soon.

I know the team thread is very quiet atm. I think it is just down to the fact that people are busy during the week. There isn't the same requirement to post as everyone who is available will play the BRL games and there is no need for me to post the team. There isn't really much to say about our performances in the team thread. We are playing very well on the whole but struggle because we are short-handed.

To be honest it feels like a struggle to keep the team alive atm. I hope we manage to survive as a team again and build the team up again. The proposed changes to the BRL format should hopefully help us.
