Theres only one group of people who control the price of fuel and it aint the public and it definitely aint the government!

Nice idea but no good if the supermarket group you make your deal with isn't around in five years. Very soon the supermarkets and the big oil players will be charging whatever they like as soon as the last of the independant retailers have gone.

Independants are dropping like flies as they cant either comply with the Petroleum Regs orkeep up with the Weights and Measures Act 1985/ Measuring Instruments Directive.

There isnt an independant petrol station in Norfolk who can even buy their stock at the price the others are selling it at.

Like it or not you will pay the price the oil companies want you to pay - 50% discount is no good if the price is inflated to £3 a litre!

Unless you can survive without petrol or diesel that is!

And don't even get me started on the difference in quality of fuel, i'm not putting supermarket diesel in my car for any more than 40p a litre coz thats about all its worth!

I save 12% by using Texaco over Tesco coz I get more mpg from their diesel, that works out over 10 pence a litre saved. There are plenty of fuel cards already in existence and they require huge fuel usage to even get 1 or 2 pence off a litre.

Im sorry to say there are only two ways for you to save money when it comes to fuel-

Drive more efficiently

Use an old petrol pump in self service as slowly as you can.

These are the ways your gonna save.
