Sometines the best is to be tight, but other time the best is be agressive. That depends, how many chips you have. If you have a lot of chips the right thing is to be agressive, bluffing the players who have few chips.

Good Luck

Somewhat aggressive at the beginning of the tourneys, tighten up when I geta big chip stackand go fishing on the big hands trying to knock people out, and play agressive if there aresix or less people on the last two tables.

...........at least that's what I try to do. Try it out.

It always depends on the situation. I´m tight at the begining of a tournament cause I´m afraid players whose go all in all the time to drop out. I always have some of them at the table.:?But u may win a lot with good hand. And after a few minutes I´m more aggressive.

Good luck, Ladik

Hi,

This question is nonsense. Tight and Aggressive are not opposite styles of play. One describes the kind of hole cards you'll play with, the other describes your betting and raising patterns.

The best players are tight AND aggressive. There's already a thread that gives an overview of the four styles of play, so I won't repeat it here, except to list them:

Tight and Passive
Loose and Passive
Tight and Aggressive
Loose and Aggressive

It sounds like you are all confusing "loose" with "aggressive".

Good cards to you.
