For at least the past 3 weeks we've had sitouts at Titan finish in the money. There have been many complaints about this. I realize that some people might have connection problems or other emergencies, but making the money by sitting out can no longer be overlooked.

Here are the rules effective immediately concerning sitouts on Titan:
  1. If you sitout at Titan and place in the money, your TTR# will be removed from the Titan list for 2 weeks. This means if you sitout the entire game, build a big chip stack then sitout to place in the money, or sitout until you reach the money and then play. (you placed in the money for doing nothing, so you should have nothing to complain about)
  2. If you sitout at Titan for 2 games or 2 weeks in a row (without making the money) you will have your TTR# removed from the Titan list for 2 weeks. In other words, if you play in one tourney and sitout the other that same night for 2 weeks, you will be removed.
  3. If you sitout at Titan on a regular basis your TTR# will be removed for permanently. Sitting out 3 or more times in a month is considered regular.
The 2 week suspension of the tourneys are to act as a "warning". If it happens again, you will face being permanently removed from the Titan tournements.

So glad you put on those rules here Suzie.

I have, for some reason problems with my connection when I play Titan and Wass these days. Happens almost at the same darn time every night: I loose my connection and are a sitout for a shorter or longer time every night. So I was starting to get a bit sceard for my Titan playing here (thought I might get band) but so glad the rules is so clare on how to get band.

Thanks Suzie as always you are doing a great job!

There were 2 players last night who would be banned under these rules.

I player sat out all game and made 15th place for $2.50, I agree that it is wrong for anyone to be able to do this.

Another player was a sit out on the final table, he returned and complained about being disconnected with 5000 chips, when he reconnected he was down to around 1000, I think this was just bad luck on his part and he cannot be blamed, we all get disconnected at times.

As far as I am aware Royal you do reg manually. The TTR numbers submitted to Suzie allows you the choice to reg or not, anyone who hasnt given Suzie their TTR cannot reg period.

So as it stands the only way to reg is to di it manually, so you should be ok

Finally!!!

Maybe this new rules will restrict sit outs I really don`t like to paly against sitouts...ok you can sitout to 5-10 minutes ( PC don`t work or connection problems or something else), but if itbe in progress all tourney I think only one thing...why you need register????

I think new rules is great idea

Good luck!

really good rule.. i was near bubble in both tourneys (by the way, i apologize - i was late for 2nd one for 20 minutes) .. 18 or 17th place in both of them - and sitouts made into money...

i think people will be more carefully now when they register to titan tourneys.. great one - good work, suzie

well i think this sitout idea is very good yes we can all have connection problems but this should not happen all the time every week and i find it very annoying when a sitout wins a hand yet alone reaches the pay off. Perhaps if some really is having connection problems they could pm suzie during the game which would show they were there trying and not just forgot about the tourney or off doing something else.
