I have "acquired" a number of poker ebooks, I didn't get them for any reason other than the fact that I could, the list is as follows:
Brian Alspach - mathematics and poker
David Sklansky - The Eight Mistakes In Poker
Doyle Brunson S. - Super System

I know some of these cost a few quid to buy, but if anyone wants any please let me know and I'll email you a copy.
Also, please bear in mind that I have not read any of them so its no good asking for recommendations. I probably will read Doyle Brunsons Super System and Sklanskys eight mistakes (I've probably already made them all).

Jacks I have read Brunson's book and most of Sklanskys'. The upside is that both are excellent for explaining how to improve your game. The downside is that both are also aimed at serious poker players. Online freerolls and low buyins are inundated with alliners and people who seem to think 85os is a big hand. So while they are very useful in improving ones game, the reward seems much greater as the stakes increase.
