I am not answering this post as one of the better players on this forum(I am certainly not that

), but to offer my thoughts on the question asked.
Point one. It is a Turbo Tournament, which in my opinion stands for crap shoot. With your stack levels you having 5 x BB and the other player 10 x BB you are both short stacked.
Point 2. You do not say what position you are in in respect to the dealer, this is quite important to the decision made.
Point 3.As he was the last to act, he may of thought you was trying it on with high cards and thinking that both his cards were live and he had already invested money in the pot that he wanted to take a chance.
Point 4. You do not say how many players were left and where abouts you were in relation to the money, another important consideration.
Point 5. Dependant on your position in respect to the dealer you could ask if it was bad play on your part. You couldn't knock him out so he had equity in reducing the field also.
Point 6. There was 6000 chips in the pot and he had to put in 3500, so the odds were 60/35 compared to the actual odds of 60/40, quite a close call.
My opinion is that I would not of made the call he made with the cards he hadI would of waited for a better spot, But there was not long to wait and it was a very close decision. Whether it was a bad call by him I must say that I do not think it was bad play in a turbo tournament as sometimes chances have to be taken and races have to be won. You lost this one.
