Good luck jules i dont know how hard it is 2 quit smoking as ive never been a smoker but looking at my da it sure looks hard, i hope u stay off those oily rags
I am 34 and start smoking at the age of 13... during this years I tried to quit smoking about 10 times... my record was 6 months when I was training for national team... I run 10Km daily and then 2-3 hours of training... there was no time to smoke, lol
Then I start to smoke again.
Dec 31st 2006 is the last day I smoke, since then I havent had a lit cigarette on my mouth.. the clue is being conscious that you wanna quit, now I can be with people who is smoking and I dont have that feeling of anxiousness... I can say I have quit it for life.
I know its just 1 year and some days since I last smoke, but I dont feel the need of it again.
Its very hard, and its true that you eat more than when you smoke... some tips there that may help... always have a bottle of water with you and a stress ball... when you feel the need of smoking, drink water.. all you can.. its better than eating, lol, and if its still hard start squeezing the stress ball... till you forget about smoking.
It worked for me.
GL to all who are in this hard process of quiting smoking!!!

goodluck bubbz . i know 3 ppl who all stopped smoking due to it being the cause of close relatives passing away .once they stopped they never touched another fag.just get the reasons why YOUR stopping clear in your head at the start and remember them when you feel low.even try listing all the pros to quitting.put the money you would spend on buying fags each day in a jar and then every month spend it on YOURSELF.dont lie to yourself to excuse having a fag.
